Description
Leidos, a FORTUNE® 500 science and technology leader, supports the supply chain actions for the Civil and Health Groups including customers such as the Department of Justice, NASA Federal Aviation Administration, and the Veterans Administration. The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for supporting the material transportation plans for programs supporting Defense, Intelligence, Civil and Health as well as Subsidiaries and special projects. The employee will be interfacing with Vendors, Logistics, Receiving, and broader Procurement & Enterprise Partnerships team to ensure program milestones are met and to provide reporting as required. Some travel may be required.
Primary Responsibilities_:_
Basic Qualifications
US Citizen
2 years prior experience in a fast paced, multiple transportation discipline operation (Parcel, LTL, FTL)
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Experience dealing with multiple National Account representatives.
Great organization and communication skills
Intermediate Excel experience (Pivot Tables, Charts, v-Lookups, Bar Charts)
Physically able to lift over 70lbs and work in a warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications
-Transportation services negotiation experience
Security Clearance
Proficient in Business Intelligence (BI) database/dashboard applications.
Supply Chain Management experience
MRP knowledge or experience
Pay Range $39,650.00 - $61,000.00 - $82,350.00
