Description
The Intelligence Group at Leidos is seeking a Web Developr to support to support one of two brand-new programs with a classified government customer. These opportunities provide the full-service conference planning, facilitation, instruction, and training and multimedia development support. Training and multi-media products will span the full gamut of technical interactivity from hard copy job aids to full, digital, immersive environments.
The Web Developer will be responsible for the design and development of website content including web applications and website or Sharepoint engineering, maintenance of internal/external company web pages, Sharepoint administration, reformatting of text, assuring hyperlink integrity, file transfer, and translation and posing of new material to the page involving HTML scripting.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide website design and development expertise in support of both new application development tasks and maintenance
Support the entire product lifecycle to include systems engineering and requirement analysis, technical design, system integration, implementation and deployment
Use industry proven design patterns and open source tools as well as staying updated on current technology trends
Become part of a team where communication skills and ability to execute within the established development process are paramount
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
Must possess a current Top Secret Clearance; TS/SCI with polygraph preferred and eligibility to obtain is a must. This requires US citizenship.
Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge of current web technologies and concepts including: Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, REST, object-oriented programming and continuous integration
Experience implementing using a modern Javascript library/framework (e.g. jQuery, Angular, Backbone, Node, Bootstrap, etc.)
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Understanding of UI/UX best practices
Have excellent technical acumen and be highly self-directed and motivated
