Position Overview: Application Design Intern (Malaysia KYDP Trainees Only)

Job Description:

Lenovo is seeking a motivated intern to join our application design team. This role provides hands-on experience in developing applications using PowerApps and managing databases with SQL. You will assist in various stages of the application development lifecycle, including integration, testing, debugging, and user support.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in SQL and PowerApps and will thrive in our dynamic, innovative team. You will work on impactful projects that contribute to our organization, with guidance from experienced professionals. This internship will help you build a strong foundation in application design and development, preparing you for a successful career in tech.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and deploying applications using PowerApps.

  • Utilize SQL to create, modify, and manage databases essential for application functionality.

  • Support the integration of various data sources and services within applications.

  • Provide support for end-users, addressing and resolving application-related issues.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Trainee Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in SQL for database management, including creating, modifying, and managing databases.

  • Experience or coursework in using PowerApps to design and develop applications.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.

  • Knowledge of integrating data sources and services within applications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration and user support.
