Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced PCBA Test Code Development Engineer to join Lenovo ISG's (Infrastructure Solutions Group) team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality test utilities to support PCBA testing, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum testing precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement test strategies and plans, identifying NUDD requirements and ensuring coverage through foolproof methodologies to maintain high product quality throughout the lifecycle.
Develop test utilities for PCBA tests, covering CPU, memory, I/O, VPD programming, and additional functional modules.
Standardize and optimize testing processes to improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cost-saving projects.
Provide technical support to ODMs onsite.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in electronic testing and test code development, with a background in server, networking, or PSU products.
Proficiency with the X86 architecture (experience with ARM and AMD is a plus).
Knowledge of industry protocols, such as PCI/PCIE, I2C/SMBus, IPMI/FRU, USB, SMBIOS, GPIO, TCP/IP, RS232, etc.
Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and programming languages like C, C++, C#, and Python; experience with development environments such as Visual Studio and GCC.
Familiarity with application and test systems (e.g., Web services, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Database technology) is an asset.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Lenovo R&D/GCM, ODM R&D/test teams, and third-party partners.
A proactive attitude with a spirit of innovation, dedication, and eagerness to take on new challenges.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 20-30% of the time.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
