What You'll Do:
In your internship you will be working with Product Manager responsible for creating the next generation of hybrid cloud and AI solutions leveraging Lenovo ThinkAgile Software Defined Infrastructure products.
As a Product Management Intern you will analyze component data by configuration attach, configuration storage sizes etc and provide recommendations for portfolio optimization
Responsibilities:
Technical understanding - Building an understanding of Hardware server components - how they interact with each other and what their role is within each system
Project & Product Management - This will be a 3 month project that will span multiple stakeholders, multiple systems, defined scope.
Developing relationships - Understanding who the correct stakeholders are to provide the information and knowing the scope of information each stakeholder can provide.
Data Analysis - A key aspect of Product Management is to make decisions based on accurate data and devise the correct metrics that can be correlated to success of a business. This role will dig into the component level data and find attach rates of various components (stretch goal - how positioning one component against another can improve our HW AURs).
Basic Qualifications:
Quick learner with an interest in edge-to-cloud hybrid cloud solutions
Basic understanding of the product lifecycle process
Bachelor degree in computer science/engineering
Prior product management experience is NOT a requirement. Must be willing to learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced education level (Masters or MBA)
Data analytics experience (eg PowerBI)
