    About the Role

    You will drive new business acquisition in new customers Legal, Corporate, Government, Academic and any adjacent markets. You will identify customer need for the solutions provided by LexisNexis SEA. You will display solid prospecting and closing capabilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Driving new business acquisition and market penetration
    • Building effective relationships with key stakeholders in strategic and designated accounts ensuring growth
    • Conducting a minimum of ten customer visits per week to promote and demonstrate LexisNexis solutions
    • Identifying and developing sales opportunities to develop a sales pipeline using prescribed sales methodology
    • Achieving monthly new billings target through Research Solutions Sales
    • Collaborating internally to identify new acquisitions ensuring a smooth handover after the acquisition to the Relationship Manager
    • Measuring through NPS and Account Reviews conducted with customers by the company
    • Recording accurate of customer and prospective customer contact status in the CRM system

    Requirements

    • Have a Diploma or Degree
    • Have good experience within the IT/Software market.
    • Be able to draft clear, concise correspondence, proposals and tender documents to describe business requirements and solutions
    • Demonstrate proven performance against sales objectives and targets using a proactive approach
    • Have experience in high level account management and client relationship development
    • Have a high level of presentation, communication, numeracy skills
    • Be able to communicate and negotiate with staff at all levels within a law firm
    • Display solid Solution Selling experience is critical (essential).
    • Demonstrate highly developed computer skills including Word, Excel, CRM Database etc.
