LexisNexis UK are looking for skilled Senior Software Engineer to aid in the scaling and transformation of our NexGen Tolley Guidance and Library products.
Tax Technology Team
Tax technology are a small and very diverse team of around 16 people, delivering the next generation of Tolley Guidance and Tolley Library products. The team has had very low attrition since its inception a few years ago, and we’re recruiting mostly due to expansion. This isn’t just your next job, it’s a real career path with excellent prospects in a very democratic team where most decisions are made by the developers rather than decided by management.
We’re a product led team focusing on the Tolley products within LexisNexis, that puts Agile at the core of everything we do, and we constantly iterate on our ways of working & technology platforms to improve our delivery and our products. We practice CI/CD, TDD, TBD, which we deliver through pair programming to keep our production code constantly up to date and of a high quality. We’ll aim to get you coding on day one and probably in production before the end of your first day. The team are friendly, supportive, highly motivated and always keen to learn new technologies and ways of working.
We’re looking for someone who wants to get things done, learn new things, and who wants to be a better developer tomorrow than they are today. The skills and technologies required below are a reflection of what we do today and will evolve over time. We’re not expecting you to have mastered each of these before applying – what you don’t know we can help you learn, and there is nobody in the team that has mastered all of what we use today. We take training and continuous personal development very seriously and make provision of time and resources to develop our skillsets.
