    As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering new features from specification through to production. You will have the opportunity to work with a modern technology stack, producing high-quality software for the oncology community. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will create solutions to improve cancer patient outcomes.

    As a Senior Software Engineer -Java, you will be responsible for:

    • Participating in the agile software development process through discovery, elaboration, implementation, testing, and release management
    •  Working with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
    •  Providing training, technical thought leadership and guidance to educate peers on best practice and latest technology trends
    • Writing and reviewing detailed specifications for the development of complex system components

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Have current experience in a Senior Agile Software Engineering role
    • Be skilled in developing back-end web technologies; Java, Spring (Boot/Security), and SOAP/REST web services
    • Demonstrate an understanding of normalized/dimensional data modelling principles
    • Show advanced knowledge of testing tools and best practices including test-driven development, unit tests, and integration tests
    • Be a natural communicator, with an ability to engage with stakeholders and teams at all levels
    • Enjoy collaborating with teams to shape new features and enhancements
