Maintenance Supervisor - Weekend Days

What You Will Do
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that multiple equipment types within the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) are fully operational. The incumbent supervises a high performing team that is capable of analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing broken equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Supervisor works with the Maintenance Manager and contractors to coordinate new construction and facilities repair work, all while ensuring that it is completed in compliance with federal and local regulations.
Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel.

What We're Looking For

• Required to work a set schedule that may be changed/modified by management based on the needs of the facility.
• Must work in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment.
• Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds; ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

What You Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

• If required by local/state regulations, certifications for performing supervisory electrical work, supervisory new construction or building repairs in an industrial facility or building repairs to an industrial facility
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience; demonstrated team-building skills, effective communication and experience/willingness to mentor and coach others
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience managing time and budgets
• Experience with repairing/maintaining some of the following types of systems or equipment:
  • Conveyors
  • Electro-pneumatic PLC controlled systems with photo eye detectors
  • Electrical systems, 440V or less
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Forklifts, reach trucks, floor sweepers, yard trucks
  • Automotive systems
  • HVAC
  • Basic Plumbing
  • Fabrication and Welding
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and various technical drawings

• High school diploma or GED equivalent with at least 4 years demonstrated increasingresponsibilities in a maintenance organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership experience with direct report responsibility
• Familiarity with lift equipment
• Post-high school education preferred; Technical school degree a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform simple fixes to PLC programming a plus
• Situational Leadership II training
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Bi-lingual skills, if applicable to the facility
