Purpose of Role:
The Product Photographer executes the strategy set by the Manager, Studio Production. This includes responsibility for producing Product Images in 360-degree and still formats for display on Lowe's digital platforms including desktop, tablet, and mobile. The Product Photographer will collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to execute content strategies. The Product Photographer will be responsible for meeting production deadlines and adhering to product standards.
Responsibility Statements:
Supports the photography studio in producing 360-spin images using robotic turntables, along with still photography, that accurately reflects the product and its use to Lowe's customers.
Demonstrates creative sensibility and strong photographic and technical skills to meet production standards with minimal reshoots.
Utilizes proper lighting technique, styling, and set up, following all necessary specifications.
Creates high quality images with minimal reshoots.
Assists in the review, editing and auditing of produced content to remove inconsistencies.
Maintains individual tracking and reporting documents to effectively accomplish work.
Facilitates a team-oriented environment that is focused on continuous improvement of the process and product representations.
Provides coaching to peers in the work environment when opportunities arise.
Required Education/Experience:
Associate degree in related area or equivalent work experience
5+ years photography experience
1+ year(s) experience in E-Commerce
Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel
Advanced knowledge in editing systems such as Adobe Photoshop, LightRoom, Bridge
Preferred Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related area
1+ year(s) experience working with 360-spin software
1+ year(s) experience working with data collection
1+ year(s) experience with content management systems
