Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Tool Rental Merchant in delivering on the go-to-market strategy and support merchandising activities to ensure operational excellence in the assigned categories. The Fleet Analyst is responsible for executing decisions made by Merchants, including but not limited to setting up new items, inputting costs, approving planograms, stocking and non-stocking items, and ensuring accuracy of the stocking matrix for new and remerch Tool Rental locations. This role collaborates cross functionally to understand the needs of the business to effectively deliver projects, best practices, and process and system improvement initiatives across Tool Rental and the organization. This role will also foster an environment to share best practices for process, procedures, metrics, etc. across the Tool Rental team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works directly with key stakeholders to deliver on business needs, often requiring time in the field
- Assists with research of fleet qualitative and quantitative analytics and recommendations to maintain and enhance existing programs and processes
- Assists with monitoring fleet aging and recommends equipment replacement schedules
- Ensure all licensed equipment are following all state/local regulations for compliance
- Under the direction of the Tool Rental Fleet merchant, the Fleet analyst maintains product data integrity within Lowe's designated software systems (i.e. store product authorization, product assignment, product costs, product specifications, vendor agreement) to ensure that all product costs, product specifications, and vendor agreements are accurate
- Reviews planograms for accuracy and compliance with programs and executes in accordance to the fleet merchant strategy
- Reviews all pricing and invoicing discrepancies to determine where issues occurred, how to resolve them, and the cost for resolution
May assist with daily requests from Tool Rental locations so products can be ordered
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Operations, or related field
- 2+ years' related Industry Experience (Rental, Repair or Fleet Management)
- 2 years' experience in data analytics, performance reporting
- Advanced skill level in Excel, such as pivot tables, power pivot, Vlookup and dynamic charts
- Demonstrated ability to convert Financial or Operational data into actionable business steps (Business Cases) to improve performance in key Service metrics
Demonstrated project management experience with reading and creating tools like project plans or Gantt charts
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office
