We are looking for a Manager to build and lead our nascent stationary storage systems electrical hardware group.  This group is responsible for all the electrical hardware in our energy storage system.  The candidate should excel at power electronics including inverters and DC/DC converters.  The candidate will also manage auxiliary electronics components.  This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of an early stage product.  Your product vision is as important as your technical and leadership skills.

The Role

• Own the development of Lucid’s stationary battery storage electrical hardware
• Build and develop a passionate stationary storage electrical hardware team
• Lead development of the stationary battery storage electrical hardware architecture
• Develop power electronics for battery energy storage applications
• Oversee electrical integration of the battery energy storage system
• Ensure product meets applicable regulations
• Work closely with the stationary storage software and systems teams to develop a world-class system

Qualifications

• Proven track record of bringing complex electrical hardware systems into production
• Experience leading teams of engineers from varying electrical hardware disciplines
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment where hardware and software fuse
• Familiarity with the energy storage space
• Familiarity with solar power generation space
• Familiarity with SCADA systems
• Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS)
• Ability to forge a clear path with little oversight

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors. 

·       California (Bay Area) - $138,000 - $198,000/yr.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid Motor’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
