    The ADAS/AD team is currently looking for experienced ECU FMEA and Quality Control enginer to drive ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) ECU (Electronic Control Unit) manufacturing failure analysis, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects and Analysis), take corrective actions, and to work with design, development and manufacturing engineering as well as management representatives to resolve sophisticated technical problems.

    The Role:

    • Responsible for development, deployment, and verification of our ECU manufacturing test at our CM’s (contract manufacturer).
    • Responsible for all aspects of validations to complete bench and vehicle level durability, EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) / EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) etc. for regulatory compliance.
    • Work close with hardware engineers and firmware engineers to generate factory test cases and setup, guidance for ICT (In-Circuit Test) / FCT (Function Test) environment setup.
    • Responsible for verifying release candidate builds to meet ECU hardware requirements.
    • Responsible for BOM (Bill of Materials) release and approving second source parts etc.
    • Responsible for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) failure analysis and report to design engineer.
    • Responsible for design of DV (Design Verification) / PV (Production Validation), thermal and environment manufacture supports and production deployment.
    • Work with cross functional teams to design, verifying, and manufacture ADAS domain controller.
    • Ensure the delivery of fully validated, functioning and high-quality products on time.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years of working experience in ECU production/ manufacturing area
    • Proven track record of bringing automotive computing platform electronics design into production.
    • Strong background in ADAS/AD ECU board production and characterization test, and product engineering.
    • 3+ years of experience in PCB DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFx (Design for Excellence) for PCB Fabrication build in manufacture.
    • Experience to support product manufacture during DV/PV/SOP phase.
    • Extensive knowledge in manufacturing management and EE (Electrical Engineering) fundamentals and project experience developing reliable and efficient critical electronics hardware board.
    • Knowledge of using oscilloscope and multi-meter.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess problems or issues with manufacturing equipment/procedure.
    • Extensive knowledge of production principles, techniques, and processes.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, embedded software, platform team, program management teams.

    Education:

    • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or other related fields.
    • Advanced degree preferred 

    Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

    ·       California (Bay Area) - $127,000 - $181,500

    Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
