We are currently seeking a leader and driver for our Program Management Organization. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills who is comfortable communicating complex issues at all levels of the organization. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate is a fearless leader of large cross-functional teams with the ability to structure complex programs, drive execution on schedule, and responsible for clear communication of status and issues at all levels.
Create and play a leading role in the execution of an overall timing plan for our HiL & System Integration Validation, including definition of main work packages and coordination of major releases
Interact with and coordinate work between all Lucid team members developing or providing electrical/electronic devices for use in the vehicle
Work closely with low voltage systems (harness, junction boxes, etc.) program management and team members to coordinate shared work
Facilitate product and functional/technical safety requirement and test case documentation, as well as architecture documentation (software, networks, power, etc.)
Lead and manage to an excellent standard through hands-on example
Support tooling requirements definition and procurement in conjunction with supply chain
Drive consistent and timely closure of program deliverables
Drive defect management & CCB/Bug boards process
Manage the definition of feature delivery and feature maturity planning tools and major integration event plans
Clearly communicate program status to overall software organization, other program managers and executives as required
Work with resource managers and technical leads to define the level of effort, resource requirements and summary timing plans
Plan and manage integration events, test events, relevant vehicle build support activities, tooling/equipment development and bug/issue/risk activities in conjunction with resource managers and technical leads
A passion for developing the best car in the world through excellence in integration including extensive vehicle-based testing
Minimum of 5 years of experience program/project managing large systems development programs
Minimum of 9 years in complex embedded (software and electronic) systems development and integration
Proven track record of delivering complex electronic products- Experience software and hardware development methods/workflows
Experience bringing highly integrated software/hardware products from the early development phase to production
Experience with/exposure to communication bus technologies (CAN, Ethernet, etc.), power management/distribution and the tools used to test, diagnose, and solve problems during integration
Experience engaging, working and managing the output of third party suppliers
BS minimum in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering or similar)
Desired
Experience in automotive electronic systems integration and architecture
Experience with Vector CAN products (CANalyzer, CANoe, and similar), flashing software on control units
Experience troubleshooting complex networked electronic systems
Experience working with/making wiring harnesses
Experience with test and build aspects of software development
PMP certification preferred
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $150,000-$195,000 per year
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

The company’s first car, the Lucid Air, is a state-of-the-art luxury sedan, featuring a California-inspired design underpinned by race-proven technology.
