We are currently seeking a Senior Test & Validation Engineer in our ECU Test Engineering team. This position requires an experienced professional with a track record of excellence in the field of systems engineering and software quality. The candidate will be an accomplished leader with a strong organizational capability and ability to command respect from the talented teams he or she will help lead and coordinate.

The Role

• Identify, document, and manage system level testing for in-house/supplier ECUs
• Drive decisions on test strategies with collaboration between quality assurance, validation, development, and operation teams
• Create & amend manual/automated test cases to perform SW validation in the operations environment (Line testing) across ECUs
• Own and manage the test platform, version history, issues list and feedback to SW Engineering, Build team and Operations
• Align and support SQA processes and activities within functional areas such as Factory testing and their testing platform
• Coordinate and communicate the rollout of new processes, quality metrics and tools with all impacted teams

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7-10 years with hands-on experience in creating and executing black box testing supporting validation of large-scale programs & products in an automotive environment.
• Strong background and experience in Test & Validation in large systems development programs
• Hands-on experience with UDS standard, scripting languages and troubleshooting system-level issues
• Hands-on experience with ECU flashing process and tools
• A proven track record of driving organizational change
• Experience using Agile/Scrum/Sprint methodology as well as waterfall methodology
• Experience with software development best practices

Education:

• BS minimum in an engineering discipline (computer science, electrical engineering or similar)

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

·       California (Bay Area) -$127,000 - $181,500
