The Role

The Data Quality and Services Analyst role will engage with the fiber build and copper to fiber migration teams to ensure KPI and quality initiatives are tracked, monitored, and owners assigned to outstanding issues.  This person will become a subject matter expert on what errors and data anomalies are occurring from build, to qual, to order while determining patterns, analyzing impacts, understanding root cause, and notifying the correct fix-agents to ensure the issues are resolved.  This work may require time outside of the office, in critical markets, conducting physical reviews of recent fiber builds and targeted migration areas.  This should be done with a data-driven, customer-first mindset with the goal 99% accuracy.

The Main Responsibilities

• Communicate, both written and orally, skillfully, and appropriately with stakeholders and executives
• Analyze the errors and performance of internal data and services that feed into Quantum Fiber
• KPI tracking and reporting upon rollout of new products and services
• Understand network analytics, design dashboards, and aggregate data. Be able to track fiber enablement and task completion metrics.
• Identify and make recommendations for process improvements
• Investigate mysterious issues and leadership questions back to their root cause, reaching out to peers and partners in the company for further investigation and resolution
• Create qualitative data and measurements to determine the relevance of the errors.
• Use qualitative data to provide recommendations on prioritization of solutions.
• Creation of financial justification supporting the introduction of new products and services

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience required; 3-5 years network / technology experience
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Identifies and makes recommendations for process improvements.
• Provides strong support for the overall management of the reported business unit's quality tools and techniques.
• Ability to use data to provide root cause analysis or summaries and provide recommendations for improvement to leadership.
• Experience with Oracle suite of database applications and proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Analytical problem solver with the ability to make timely data driven decisions that contribute to operational excellence
• Extensive experience with data analytics, forecasting, and business case development
• Strong financial acumen with an intimate knowledge of corporate finance
• Expert skill level with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Knowledge & understanding of access network technology

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
