Sales Support Associate (SSA) is a support extension of the Sales and Customer Success team to drive greater efficiency and productivity for the sales organization. The Sales Support Associate will be responsible for maintaining understanding of Lumen's internal sales systems and processes while acting as the subject matter expert for all internal questions and escalations around these processes.
• Supporting predominantly pre-sales activities around project quoting, order support & accuracy, and ensuring proper sales recognition after order submission. The focus of the role is to limit the administrative burden on sellers while enabling sales to focus on customer facing/revenue generating activities
• Serve as subject matter expert for quote creation and order submission for sales representatives. Providing guidance to sales team and end-to-end accountability on the Quote to Order process.
• Perform administrative changes to internal quoting systems and assist Sales Team in preparing quotes for bids/RFP’s/RFI’s/RFQ’s.
• Manage and track quotes/orders through to order submission into delivery. Highlight any dependencies impacting the delivery process.
• Administrative tasks involve Salesforce management (accuracy and accountability of opportunity value), assisting with meeting Sales Exit Criteria, and managing large data sets for customer quoting/ordering.
• Expedite sales process by facilitating requests with appropriate internal groups, coordinating completion, and ensuring timely responses.
• Will provide direct sales support by utilising a variety of organizational and project management skills.
• 2 years+ of related experience
• Attention to detail
• Language skills; English (essential) with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills, both internally and with end customers.
• Able to rapidly absorb new techniques and processes and apply them effectively
• Can exercise independent judgment
• Adaptable, dynamic, proactive, self-motivated team player
• Demonstrated ability to develop productive and collaborative cross-functional relationships
• Ability to focus, multi-task and deliver proactively in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment

Preferred experience
• Good business acumen and working knowledge in the sales environment
• Experience within the IT sector is preferred - experience within a similar role would be an advantage.
