    The Role

    The Sr Sales Compensation Systems Analyst uses SAP Commissions (formerly called Callidus) to calculate sales commissions for the enterprise and wholesale sales channels.  This person is responsible for executing tasks as part of the sales compensation production schedule, data validation, troubleshooting system issues, communicating requirements for system changes, and testing system/report enhancements. This person is able to manage their own time and receive direction remotely. 

    The Main Responsibilities

    • Execute production activities in the SAP Commissions UI and SQL Server, which includes running interfaces and transferring data between various data sources
    • Perform data analysis/audits using the SAP Commissions UI, SQL (SQL Server), and MS Excel to resolve issues with payments
    • Drive process improvements to the sales compensation system
    • Define and provide requirements for sales compensation system changes to developers
    • Test enhancements/bug fixes to the sales compensation system, and validate upon implementation
    • Communicate system and/or reporting issues and resolution with business end users
    • Participate on project teams and work independently with a diverse group of stakeholders

    What We Look For in a Candidate

    • Typical relevant experience 5+ years
    • Ability to implement solutions as requested by business users to help manage and process sales compensation more efficiently
    • Ability to analyze and reconcile complex business data and systems issues
    • Willingness to support production activities and perform data analysis to troubleshoot commission issues
    • Provide business expertise for functional areas assigned within sales compensation system
    • Ability to work independently to complete projects in a timely manner from a remote location
    • Good communication skills

    Technical Skills

    • Experience with SAP Commissions (Callidus)
    • SQL querying skills and knowledge of relational databases
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Experience with Power BI
    • Experience in requirements writing
    • Experience with end-to-end testing

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or related subject area

    This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

    This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
