Position summary
You will be a seasoned technology lead with a track record in partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders to deliver innovative and scalable solutions, particularly in the areas of post trade modernization and automation.
You think strategically but have a strong commercial focus and are committed to realizing exceptional value for our business.
Your role will entail forging strong working relationships with Operations stakeholders as well as technology teams across the world.
You will have:
- A technical/software engineering background in Java with exposure to cloud native technologies, ideally AWS
- Strong technical architecture and solution design skills
- Bias towards strategic thinking and transformational change delivery
- Strong delivery focus – quickly and incrementally moving our architecture towards the desired target state
- The ability to quickly grasp complex business problems and design holistic and robust solutions
- Exceptional ability to influence, create alignment and effect change with senior stakeholders
- Experience of managing teams both locally and in remote locations
In addition, the following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- Commodities product knowledge, especially energy products
- Trade booking and lifecycle flows
- Exposure to data architecture, data platforms and data analytics tools
