    Position summary

    Digital Transformation and Data (DTD) is responsible for identifying and delivering on transformation opportunities within the Macquarie Group. We enable innovation by fostering collaborative new ways of working, transforming products and services, and delivering digital outcomes. As part of the Digital Transformation & Data (DTD) division within the Corporate Operations Group (COG), you'll play a critical role in partnering with divisions across Macquarie to transform their teams, processes and technology using human centered design, lean practices, and data analytics.

    Your role will be in the Business Design team, focused on delivering small strategic change and large transformation initiatives. You will work as part of a team on collaborative projects supporting the division’s strategy, to challenge the status quo and work on innovative solutions. Project activities will include synthesizing data, current state analysis, solution ideation, cost vs benefit analysis and stakeholder management.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to work in a fast paced and outcome focused environment, both individually and as part of a team.

    Here's what you'll need:

    · 3 - 5+ years of experience working as a Consultant, Project Manager or Business Analyst

    · Learning mindset and a strong desire to challenge the status quo

    · Experience in strategic thinking and solving business problems to meet stakeholders’ needs

    · Experience working with a wider range of senior and junior stakeholders

    · Learning mindset and a strong desire to challenge the status quo

    · Be comfortable undertaking both proactive and reactive analysis across large sets of data, using strong excel skills, dashboards and automated tools

    · Possess excellent written and oral communication skills - being able to both interpret and convey information in a clear, concise way

    · Ability to create and execute plans to achieve deliverables

    · Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities

    · Work effectively as part of a team to deliver client outcomes

    Other skills that would be beneficial:

    · Experience in practical application of Lean Six Sigma methodology

    · Project Management

    · Experience with visualization and data preparation & blending tools (e.g. Power BI, Alteryx)

    · Data analytics or statistics

    · Experience working in an agile environment
