    Position summary

    We have an exciting opportunity for a technology professional with eDiscovery experience with a specialization in the collection and review of electronic communications.

    The eDiscovery and Surveillance (eDS) team within Macquarie provides technology and services to retain, supervise, and discover Electronically Stored Information (ESI).  As a global technology service, we partner with Legal, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Security teams across Macquarie during the eDiscovery phase of investigations. 

    We are seeking a talented eDiscovery Specialist who will work with our business partners across Macquarie’s Legal, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Global Security teams.  You will assist these teams by preserving, collecting, and delivering ESI as required to support various investigations.  You will use a variety of archiving and data analysis applications throughout the lifecycle of these investigations and provide technical subject matter expertise to legal professionals.

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Familiarity with the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)

    • Experience applying legal hold preservation to various types of data

    • Experience with one or more of the following eDiscovery technologies: Ringtail, Nuix, Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, Office 365 Compliance Center, Global Relay, Smarsh, Proofpoint.

    • Experience with forensic imaging of devices such as laptops and mobile phones

    • Experience in a regulated environment such as financial services or pharma.

    • Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of a global technology team including the flexibility to attend occasional morning meetings with colleagues in the United States.

    • Outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships and operate effectively across a diverse list of business partners including technology, legal, Employee Relations and external vendors. 

    • A strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.

    • Excellent written and verbal skills.

    • Willingness to learn and develop skills in a challenging and fast paced environment

    • Uncompromising integrity and ability to reliably handle sensitive data
