Global Head of Investments Technology - Macquarie Asset Management

Macquarie’s Technology division within Corporate Operations Group (COG) is looking for an experienced team member to lead their Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) Investments team.

Technology and innovation are at the heart of the growth of our Asset Management business and as such we are looking for a specialized leader to drive these outcomes. We are looking for technology leaders who will make a lasting impact on the success of the firm as we redefine the future of our global technology platform. We are seeking a senior, talented, and highly motivated Global Head of Investments Technology with strong investment management knowledge and track record of successful delivery to join our growing team in the US.

Key Opportunities Include

In this role you will:

• Define and deliver technology solutions to advance investment management lifecycle processes, including portfolio analysis / construction, order management and trade execution, pre-trade compliance, performance / attribution analysis, portfolio risk analysis, cash management and quant research
• develop senior relationships with investment teams to gain and utilize a deep understanding of the firm's investment business processes and provide strategic solutions to transform current business models utilizing innovative technology
• become a valued partner by anticipating and proposing alternative solutions to help business extend their reach
• lead a global DevOps team to provide end-to-end design, delivery and operation of applications and solutions.
• develop and control platform priorities, budget, and resourcing requirements
• run the platform in line with the bank’s policies and architecture standards to ensure technology risks are understood communicated, and effectively mitigated
• champion technology excellence, practice, and innovative technologies to automate, simplify and innovate the technology landscape.

If you have significant demonstrated hands-on experience with buy-side front office systems such as Blackrock Aladdin, Investor Tools Perform, Factset Research, etc. as well extensive domain knowledge and experience in asset management capabilities such as fixed income, equities, currency, hedge funds, multi-asset, and affiliated managers.

Salary

Salary range for this position: $270,000 –400,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
