Join Macquarie’s Futures Clearing operations team as a Reconciliations Analyst. Based in our Chicago, IL office, this position offers a hybrid commute.
In this role, you will perform support for CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, ICE US, ICE Europe Exchange position, trade, and equity reconciliations. This includes support for carry broker position, trade, and equity reconciliations across multiple overseas exchanges as well as in-depth knowledge and experience reconciling exchange fees.
On a day-to-day basis, you will run automated trade reconciliations for top tier clients to identify and rectify discrepancies top day and perform daily closeouts for Instruct and Omnibus accounts.
In addition, you will liaise with internal IT support and external vendor support to raise, explain and resolve issues relating to various systems failure or exceptions and confidently communicate the development and improvement of systems used to reconcile trade, positions, and fees.
Candidates meeting the minimum job requirements will have the ability to navigate around exchange systems and extract data required to complete various position, trade and fee reconciliations and investigations, experience using automated trade and position reconciliation systems, including ability to maintain static and translation tables, and proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Word.
Additional qualifications that are helpful to being successful in this role include systems knowledge of CME Group Applications; FEC, Document direct, ICE US Applications; ECS, and ICE EUROPE Applications; ECS, CRYSTAL REPORTS, as well as a bachelor’s degree
