    Position summary

    Are you passionate about using and growing your agile skillset to lead a software engineering team to deliver business tangible business value, all using modern technology?  Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) Technology has a unique opportunity to bring that passion and make an immediate impact delivering technology solutions for our global asset management business.

    We are building scalable global platforms using modern and cloud native technologies to enable MAM to grow as a data driven and tech enabled organization. You will work alongside Product owners, an agile team of Engineers, Business SMEs, various Service owners & Support teams with a key focus to drive innovation and continuously deliver business outcomes.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Leading scrum team(s) focused on delivering business outcomes across global locations, with opportunity to operate cross-domain
    • managing and coordinating delivery and agile rituals including: sprint and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, showcases, retrospectives, tracking sprint metrics and other activities
    • tracking vendor features, defects, and delivery timeframes and prioritizing work accordingly
    • maintaining sprint flow by managing risks and removing blockers
    • guiding teams to be self-organized, promote a collaborative team environment that foster creativity, innovation, continuous improvement and celebrate successes
    • providing targeted communication to all stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues
    • developing an effective change management plan ensuring that the required change is achieved
    • assisting in effort estimation forecasting and people management
    • supporting and mentoring scrum framework practices and Agile principles
    • partner with the product owner and business stakeholders on longer term strategies and roadmaps

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Experience as a Project Manager / Scrum Master working closely with product owners and engineers
    • proven experience in Agile delivery models and mindsets
    • delivering complex projects working across multiple streams, multiple regions, with diverse stakeholders
    • strong stakeholder management skills to gain consensus and deliver outcomes
