Join our Risk Management group as a Senior Internal Auditor Analyst focused on commodities trading/capital markets businesses. You’ll bring an eye for detail and have a keen interest in trading risks in a financial services environment. This role is a great opportunity to gain insight into our risk and control frameworks.
Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of trading businesses, associated products and supporting control functions. You’ll be working in small to medium sized internal audit project teams, both regional and global, to help define audit scopes and execute testing. You may also be assisting to draft internal audit findings for discussion with audit senior management, as well as ensuring adequate remediation of open internal audit issues and actions.
Collaborating with stakeholders to continuously monitor risks and partnering with the broader Risk Management Group to contribute to the continual improvement of the risk management framework will be important functions of your role.
To be successful in this role you will possess strong teamwork and relationship management skills as well as an attention to detail and investigative nature. With experience in a financial services internal audit role, audit practice or related control function you will be highly motivated and have an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a newly qualified certified public accountant or 1-4 years’ experience in financial services.
While the role is based in Houston, you would be joining an Internal Audit team that is represented in Sydney, New York City, Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Gurugram and Jakarta, and as such travel might be required. Salary range for this position: $85,000 - $115,000/Yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
