    Position summary

    Senior Analyst, Operations Business Management

    Join the Macquarie Operations Business Management team in Houston, and take part in a diverse and exciting range of work and projects.

    Ops is a global team, responsible for business aligned trade support services such as middle office, trade validation, trade documentation and settlement support, as well as a range of group-wide services such as regulatory reporting, client lifecycle management, payments and treasury support, reconciliation services, and various Human Resources (HR) Ops services including; global payroll, onboarding, HR data and systems support, and mobility.

    We are looking for highly-motivated individuals, from various academic or professional backgrounds who display the following attributes:

    • Strong data skills, excellent with Excel, strong with PowerPoint, and potentially with experience in Power BI and PowerApps.
    • Have an intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning
    • Problem solvers who challenge the status quo
    • Analytical and data driven, with a high attention to detail
    • Ability to interpret, convey, and synthesize information clearly and concisely
    • Strong planning skills, while also being flexible and comfortable working in a constantly changing and/or ambiguous environment
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Team players who can work directly with internal and external stakeholders
    • Proactive self-starters who thrive in fast-paced environments and maintain high levels of motivation

    In this role, you will collaborate and work closely with all Ops teams and key stakeholder groups. A significant responsibility of this role is the ownership of the workforce management processes and reporting on behalf of the Division. There will also be opportunity to be involved in other services the Business Management team provides to the Operations Leadership team, including:

    • Financial management and analysis
    • Management information reporting for internal and external stakeholders
    • Communications and story-telling
    • Operating models and strategy
    • Change capability & transformation frameworks
    • Management of Operations Risk & Control standards, policies and governance frameworks
