A compelling opportunity has opened at both the Senior Associate and Vice President levels to join a highly successful and growing Insurance Team within the Financial Institutions Group (“FIG”) in the New York office.
The FIG group at Macquarie Capital is a M&A focused business that also provides strong leveraged finance and private credit capabilities to our clients as well as bespoke principal investment solutions. We go to market across three core verticals: financial technology, insurance, and specialty finance.
The insurance practice covers the entirety of the insurance landscape including P&C, life and health, distribution and services as well as credit sensitive sectors such as mortgage insurance. We are looking to build upon the strong momentum from a very successful year where we closed multiple sell-side transactions across a range of insurance verticals.
The ideal candidate will have had prior experience in the insurance industry - providing a strong, baseline understanding of insurance accounting, valuation, and modeling. You will also be expected to play a key role in supporting/ leading the execution of a broad range of M&A mandates as well as supporting the team’s client coverage and marketing efforts. Salary Range
Salary range for this position: $200,000 - $260,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
