Cloud Virtualization Engineer
Location: Arlington, VA
Seeking an experienced Cloud Virtualization Engineer to support the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) Task Order for the GIG Service Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract. This person should be a skilled technician knowledgeable and experienced in infrastructure as code environments, automating patches and system configurations, and with designing and engineering commercial cloud environments, architectures, and designs.
Develop, document, and maintain training and knowledge transfer procedures
Develop end-user training and knowledge management materials in support of new releases
Develop, implement, and maintain a CESO-accessible knowledge database/portal
Provide training when substantive technological changes are introduced
Current Top Secret w/SCI (TS/SCI) eligibility (Mandatory). Some candidates will be required to obtain CI Poly.
BS and 10+ years of hands-on engineering and administration experience in virtualized environments, ideally with federal government. Add'l experience may be considered in lieu of degree
IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
Ability to obtain an Amazon Operations certification within 120 days
Ability to obtain an Amazon Developer certification within 120 days
Strong knowledge of networking and operating systems
Virtualization, VM image builds & security hardening
Experience working in a high op-temp, top secret environment
Prior experienced with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners
Security Clearance: Current Top Secret w/SCI (TS/SCI) eligibility (Mandatory). Some candidates will be required to obtain CI Poly.
