Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Manager to join our team in Los Angeles AFB (LA AFB), CA.
The Program Manager will lead a combined team to manage cost, schedule, risk and technical performance of contracts and subcontracts to earn exceptional customer feedback. The PM will plan, direct, and manage these contracts, working closely with functional leaders and across subcontractors to recruit and retain your team. The PM will lead the program start-up, establishing daily operations, achieving financial results, and executing the program to comply with contract terms, regulations, and internal policies. Finally, the PM will support overall business growth within the Cross Mission Ground and Communications Division at Space Systems Command.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead a team of 250+ with technical engineering backgrounds to accomplish SE&I and A&AS professional services for the Space System Command's Cross Mission Ground and Communications Division
Execute the contract budget and report financials
Lead program reviews to highlight accomplishments and challenges
Collaborate with leadership to align with company policies
Participate in business development and proposal writing
Basic Qualifications:
20+ years' relevant experience in DoD, national security space acquisition, ground or communications systems, and having managed a DoD program providing system of systems enterprise-level SE&I services in the past 5 years
Management of complex DoD programs providing engineering or similar technical fields
Experience with DoD program management practices, reporting, quality guidelines, and financial management
MS degree in any field

Physical Requirements:
Requires travel up to 10%; ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time; ability to move around inside an office and in field sites ability to operate a computer and other office machinery such as copy machine and computer printer; occasionally ascend/descend a ladder and or stairs to access work areas; ability to complete repeating motions that may include wrists, hands and or fingers; ability to communicate frequently with customers and coworkers with ability to exchange accurate information in these situations; ability to see words and graphics on computer screens and in printed paper documents.
