Cyber Operations Engineer - Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA)
We provide Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in Arlington, VA. For sixty years, DARPA has held to a singular and enduring mission: to make pivotal investments in breakthrough technologies for national security. We have an immediate opening for a Reverse Engineer, Cryptologic & Cyber Technology Transition to support DARPA in Arlington, VA.
We seek Reverse Engineering & Vulnerability Research expertise to help DARPA identify and implement compelling Cyber Offensive & Defensive solutions for the battlefield. We need help with strategic coordination of Cyber & Crypto efforts from the ground-up / field work, through implementation. Required Background and Skills:
Experience with telecommunications, exploitation, cyber operations, and high speed data processing
Experience with leading testing and evaluation of Department of Defense applied research and advanced technology development of cybersecurity technologies and/or prototypes in an operationally relevant environment
Experience in gathering and interpreting information from sensitive platforms for intelligence collection, risk assessment, and reporting
Desired Background and Skills:
Hands-on tactical experience with analytical products and tools for cyber operations
Experience with military cyber operations, related tools, and integration with transition platforms for operational use
5+ years of experience in the above realms
Location:
Work performed 100% onsite at DARPA in Arlington, VA in a SCIF environment
Security Clearance Requirement:
This position requires a Top Secret security clearance at minimum and the candidate must be SCI eligible
Education Requirement:
B.S. degree or higher, in computer science, engineering, information, or mathematics related field desired
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
