ManTech is seeking a motivated, proactive, creative, career and customer-oriented Director of Business Development with demonstrated success executing business development efforts, driving new pursuits, and facilitating Government engagements. This position will be focused on bringing ManTech's core solutions and capabilities (cybersecurity, application development, systems engineering, mission and enterprise IT, advanced cloud services) to market within a variety of expansion accounts.
This position directly contributes to the ManTech Federal Civilian (FedCiv) Sector's objectives by continuing and accelerating our growth within the Emerging Markets Division. Reporting to the Vice President of FedCiv Growth, this highly visible position works with the most senior leaders across ManTech to develop and execute account strategies and drive business growth.

Position Responsibilities:
Cultivate new and existing customer relationships to develop our business and visibility within target agencies that result in organic and inorganic growth.
Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of ManTech's capabilities, technology, and business objectives. Use this knowledge to design and execute creative and differentiated growth strategies and customer engagements as well as influence future capability development efforts.
Identify, qualify, and support the capture of new business for the Emerging Markets Division. This includes ownership of the EMD new business pipeline and account/opportunity-specific customer call plans. Maintain a 3 year sales pipeline, or more, of qualified business opportunities by constantly identifying and qualifying new opportunities.
Conduct introductory and ongoing briefing(s) with various Government leadership and management teams.
Maintain business relationships with other industry partners to facilitate teaming and thorough awareness of the competitive market.
Participate and host industry events for target agencies that highlight investments and service capabilities.
Review and evaluate proposal documents during color reviews and in preparation for proposal submission.
Participate in oral presentation and video proposal submission reviews.
Position Requirements:
A minimum of (7) seven years of experience selling IT services to the Federal Government.
Recent experience (within the last 18 months) developing new business within Federal Civilian agencies (e.g., Treasury, NASA, etc.).
Demonstrated track record of winning $25M+ opportunities as a prime contractor.
Clearance Requirement:
Must be an U.S. Citizen
A current Secret clearance, is preferred
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
