Currently, M a nTech is seeking a motivated, mission and customer-oriented Financial Analyst / Business Analyst to join our team in the Washington D.C. area .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Assist with the implementation of operational policies and procedures, draft memoranda, and participate in various projects

  • Support program managers through acquisition, solicitation, and proposal evaluation

  • Assist with the creation, revisions, and routing of program documents, and source selection documentation

  • Provides support in budget, billing, reporting, and financial management for IT initiatives

  • Provides expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts and in translating business process needs into technical requirements

  • Provide quality control of all documents and processes to ensure that all aspects of agency guidelines are followed

  • Perform project management and monitoring of project schedules and task performance progress ensuring all cost, schedule and technical deliverables are being meet

  • Compiles technical, financial, and other project data using various sources for inclusion in reports, studies, or presentation materials

  • D evelops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Management, Business or Finance with 7 or more year s of related work experience

  • Experience in conducting targeted review of status and identify points of risk, what-if analysis.

  • E xperience in identifying alternative strategies for addressing risk

  • Experience with analysis, fact verification, study and research are all a part of the financial analyst job , as well as planning and decision making on financial analysis

  • Experience with project mgmt. tools/techniques, etc .

  • Experience performing data gathering and analysis

  • Experience with interdisciplinary technical teams

  • Demonstrated experience with protocol and precedence , structure, regulations, directives, and policies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS degree in Management, Business or Finance with 3 or more years of related work experience

  • Experience in an ITIL or SAFe environment a plus

  • Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) certification a plus

Clearance Requirements:

  • Top Secret w/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
