Currently, M a nTech is seeking a motivated, mission and customer-oriented Hardware Engineer to join our team in the Washington D.C. area.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Provide technical task order expertise and technical guidance is solving complex hardware/software engineering problems
Provide technical support of all phases of hardware/software design analysis, development, integration, and implementation
Capable of determining appropriate use of technologies in solving engineering problems
Develops test strategies, devices, and systems
Performs stress and performance tests on a variety of computer hardware including circuit boards, processors , and wiring
Monitor and maintain system status for all subsystems, components, and devices
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems
Provide technical recommendations for maintaining and upgrading system architecture
Assist with the design of, installation and support of computer systems and peripherals
Basic Qualifications:
Bach elor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, Software
A minimum of (3) years of relevant logistics experience
A minimum of ( 2 ) years of experience with common networking protocols
Experience with Virtualization
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
E xperience working in a large data-center environment, and understanding of data center infrastructure, virtualization, and automation techniques
Knowledge, skills and abilities in SAFe Agile processes and methods
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's degree
A minimum of (1) year of related experience
Experience with the m anagement of multiple web applications on Windows and Linux platforms
Experience with a utomated software testing
Prior u se of scripting, e.g., B ash, Python, or PowerShell and PowerCLI scripts
Experience with backup systems
A Cisco certification (CCNA or CCNP )
An Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 Foundation c ertification

Top Secret w/SCI
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
