Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission and customer-oriented Network Monitoring/Service Desk Program Manager to join our team in the Washington D.C area-hybrid/virtual.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation

  • Provide technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations and designs, build, and implement network systems

  • Manage the Contractor supported Help/Service Desk performance

  • Provides input to policy level discussions regarding standards and technical constraints

  • Provide support for proactive network monitoring solutions

  • Ensure service support is timely, accurate and meets service levels daily

  • Establish and promote best practices throughout the technical support process

  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly reports on help/service desk performance metrics and measures

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of network monitoring solution to include the design, planning and execution of the solution to new and existing systems

  • Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and document the enterprise network and system monitoring tools

  • Diagnose and resolve network performance and/or technical challenges

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of (10) ten years of Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering experience

  • Experience performing system-level design and configuration of products including determination of hardware, OS, and other platform specifications

  • Experience with oversight for information systems operations activities, including computer and telecommunications/communications operations, data control, LAN/MAN/WAN administration and operations support, operating systems programming, system security policy procedures, and/or web strategy and operations

  • A Bachelor's Degree

  • An ITIL v4 certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ( 20 ) five years of Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering experience

  • Knowledge of or prior experience with the DHS CISA environment

  • Experience implementing and supporting Cybersecurity Network Defense Systems

  • Proficient with security best practices on server and network configuration and access controls

  • Proficient in network monitoring solutions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present confidently before a large audience

  • A Master's degree

  • Industry certifications, such as, CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP

Clearance Requirements:

  • A current TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
