Currently, ManTech is seeking a Program Manager to manage contractor staff and provide support to the Science and Analysis team in Kihei, HI. This effort will support ongoing Research and Development (R&D) effort focused on exploring and innovating technologies that advance state-of-the-art ground-based, electro-optical space situational awareness, optical imaging, advanced space tracking, and space object characterization capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience managing large technical and R&D groups.
Minimum 7 years of experience maintaining a complex laboratory environment.
Minimum 7 years of experience providing project / program management in a classified environment.
Demonstrated capability in managing large multi-task contracts of this scope and complexity.
Demonstrated experience working with multiple specialties supporting R&D and operational missions.
Proficiency in managing programs in the Defense Acquisition environment.
Experience across a variety of technical disciplines.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Working knowledge of project management concepts and principles.
Familiarity with the USAF and US Space Force (USSF) space control/space domain awareness mission area.
Bachelor's Degree in physics, electro-optics, applied mathematics, electrical engineering or related discipline. Master's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing multiple complex projects with different stakeholders and collaborators across the Intelligence Community, USAF, and USSF.
Experience in location that is challenged logistically.
Knowledge of the functions of a research lab devoted to ground-based, electro-optical space situational awareness, optical imaging, advanced space tracking, and space object characterization capabilities.
Background in supporting or executing USAF, intelligence, or USSF missions.
Certifications such as PMP or Defense Acquisition University PM Level 3.
Security Clearance Requirements:
A current Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:
Requires travel up to 10%; ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time; ability to move around inside an office and in field sites ability to operate a computer and other office machinery such as copy machine and computer printer; occasionally ascend/descend a ladder and or stairs to access work areas; ability to complete repeating motions that may include wrists, hands and or fingers; ability to communicate frequently with customers and coworkers with ability to exchange accurate information in these situations; ability to see words and graphics on computer screens and in printed paper documents
