As a PACKAGING LEAD, your responsibilities will include:
Lead by example, driving adherence to all Plant and Safety policies and procedures within the Brewery,
including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Hold
team members accountable to the same standards
Utilize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to complete daily and weekly tasks, ensuring sustained and
repeatable quality and overall performance results. Ensures and supports team member usage of SOPs.
Ensure continuous operation of process equipment through active operator management, process
monitoring, and troubleshooting
Actively knows their KPIs and addresses performance gaps
Demonstrate solution-oriented, critical thinking, and efficient decision-making skills to drive root cause
analysis and corrective actions for consistent achievement of all measurables
Actively mentor, coach, and hold Packaging Operators accountable for safety, quality, productivity,
continuous improvement, and team harmony
Audits and supports Line sanitation and 5S execution each shift
Owns and is accountable for leading the team through brand changes and line start-up. Team Lead is directly
responsible for the quality of the 1st case coming for the line post-change/SU.
Effectively communicate job knowledge and process changes to the operations team members and
management through various forms of daily communication (shift handover meeting, daily production
meetings, email, action logs, work orders, etc.)
Audit operator performance to ensure proper quality inspection of products as per SOPs
Responsible for either leading or assisting with isolation of blocked product
Coaches TMs to initiate the NCR process with QA for suspect materials
Understands, knows, and can communicate the line performance for their area
Leads the production floor from 530 to 630 to facilitate shift handover while maintaining shop efficiency.
Audit documentation to ensure its completion, certifying inventory checks, quality inspections, sanitation
requirements.
Drive a preventative and routine operator maintenance program, including operator checks and lubrication of
machinery and equipment and submitting corrective maintenance WO notifications
Take effective escalation measures for safety, quality, equipment, and/or personnel issues for immediate
resolution
Step in for Packaging Operators during vacations or other absences when needed
Ensure cross-training of team members to maximize the use of all available resources and overall team
competency
Self-starter that is willing to develop themselves to SME level on packaging equipment centers
Willing to be a developer of team members through operational training through Best in Craft and Capability
program
Perform other various job duties as required

Qualified candidates will have:
High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate degree and/or Trade Certification preferred.
2+ years of supervisory / leadership experience in production environment and 3-5 years of overall production experience
Demonstrated and effective use of computer skills such as MS office, Teams, OneNote, and email.
Preferred bi-lingual English/Spanish.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Working conditions:
Fast-paced and constantly changing work environment
Shift work including days, evenings, overnight shifts up to 12 hrs.
Overtime work, including weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to push/pull/move up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand 8-12 hours per day.
Ability to ascend/descend stairs throughout the workday.
Excellent hand / eye coordination including manual dexterity.
