We're looking for someone who is able to think outside the box and come up with solutions to long-standing problems which have been impacting development productivity. Someone who has the customer in mind, be it a peer or a Mastercard customer. The candidate must be enthusiastic about overcoming common-day pain points.
The main goal of this role is to solve problems and issues at the source, preferably before they even become problems, ensuring they don't roll over to other development teams and require the solutions to be re-applied everywhere.
Role
• Building and maintaining a set of libraries and tools to support infrastructure operations
• Interacting with our AWS cloud infrastructure - EKS/Kubernetes clusters, EC2 instances, CloudFront, Serverless apps & more
• Working with DevSecOps and DevOps to ensure alignment with the organizational requirements and standards
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, using code, configuration, build, deploy, and monitoring tools
• Documentation - everything we do must be accompanied by clear reference guides to ensure that the products are put to good use and that maintenance is easy and effective for anyone wishing to contribute
• Work closely with other developers in designing and supporting new features and services and troubleshooting problems
• Apply, integrate and improve open source tools to extend operations capabilities and efficiency
All About You
• 4+ years in a software engineering position with strong infrastructure background
• Experience with Container technology, familiar with tools such as Kubernetes, Helm, Docker Compose - MUST
• Experience with SQL/No-SQL and related DB technology - MUST
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g GitHub Actions, Jenkins) - MUST
