    Overview

    Client Services, Data & Services Mastercard Data & Services provides cutting-edge data analysis and services to Fortune 500s, governments, and nonprofits to make multimillion-dollar business decisions and grow their organizations. Our Advisors Client Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Mastercard Advisors works with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.

    The Advisors Client Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management.

    Our Performance Analytics consultants translate data into insights by leveraging Mastercard and customer data to design, implement, and scale analytical solutions for customers. They use qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques and enterprise applications to synthesize analyses into clear recommendations and impactful narratives.

    Description of the Role

    • Manage deliverable development and workstreams on projects across a range of industries and problem statements
    • Contribute to and/or develop analytics strategies and programs for large, regional, and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value
    • Manage working relationship with client managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner
    • Obtain data from multiple sources, collate, analyze, and triangulate information to develop reliable fact bases
    • Apply a range of descriptive and/or predictive analytical techniques to rigorously identify client issues and synthesize analysis into clear, sound recommendations;
    • Extract intellectual capital from engagement work and actively share tools, methods and best practices across projects
    • Support MasterCard Advisors and local market account teams in client relationship management and business development effort, where required

    All about you:
    • Undergraduate or master's degree and work experience after completing your degree(s)
    • Excellent analytical skills across descriptive and/or predictive analytics
    • Data and analytics experience such as working with data analytics software (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS) and building, managing, and maintaining database structures
    • Experience with big data and a solid foundation in managing and analyzing large datasets and synthesize key findings to provide recommendations via descriptive analytics and business intelligence
    • Experience with managing project or leading small teams
    • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbally and in writing
    • Proven team player with proven ability to work with all levels in a highly intellectual, collaborative, and fast paced environment
    • Professional level English language capability/ and local language
    • Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of which they are applying for a position in, as well as eligible to apply for travel visas as required by travel needs
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable)

    • Experience working with payments / transactions / card data is a plus, although not mandatory
