    Position summary

    counting and payments related to merchant, syndicated marketing and customer business agreements.
    Responsibilities
    • Run SFDC reports to ensure we capture all new deals. Send executed contracts to the GSBC Pune to create the deal in CRS
    • Review deal tracking files prepared by the GBSC Pune team.
    • Ensure and manage a timely and accurate close of the CRS sub ledger and Oracle general ledger, including creation and review of journal entries
    • Prepare journals for contra revenue accruals and other required reclass journal entries in Oracle (if not catered for in CRS)
    • Communicate and collaborate with account managers to resolve outstanding issues and payments
    • Post payments, review and advise on any adjustments required to deal accruals
    • Perform monthly and quarterly Rebates and Incentives balance sheet reconciliations for affected balance sheet accounts in Blackline
    • Assist with the preparation of quarterly presentation decks e.g. R&I deck, Controller deck, CEO deck
    • Assist with project specific work related to Rebates and Incentive projects; these include:
    oGlobal R&I automation project
    oImpairment analysis
    • Specifically, with the Global R&I automation project, assist with the migration/automation of volume incentives in the new Contra Revenue System

    Competencies
    • Strong foundation and experience in accounting (preferably a chartered accountant)
    • Ability to produce accurate and reliable outputs/results
    • Strong bias on controls and ensuring that processes and procedures are followed
    • Results orientated with an ability to work under pressure and have a structured approach to deliverables
    • Focused on achieving key outputs, with a sense of urgency and in a professional manner
    • Able to adjust to changing processes and systems - should be agile to adapt e.g. changing accounting system will change established work procedures
    • Ability to communicate effectively with account managers and fellow colleagues at various management levels
