Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to work in the Payments Network group with strong experience in Go Lang and is a good team player.
Role
• Work cross functionally to build and design scalable solutions, systems, and databases, as well as exercising creativity in architecting new product ideas
• Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and architectural decision making
• Contribute to the entire implementation process for new applications and enhancements to existing applications
• Meet with business partners to understand business needs
• Contribute to overall solution design
• Responsible for build and test of applications
• Conduct root cause analysis and complex performance tuning
All About you:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
• At least 7 years' experience in software engineering
• At least 2 years' experience with Go
• Experience with Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development methodologies
• Familiarity with creating and maintaining containerized application deployments with a platform like Docker
• Experience with protocol buffers and gRPC
• Experience with Python 3.8 or higher desirable.
• Proven experience (2 years) building and maintaining data-intensive APIs using a RESTful approach
• Experience in configuration management tool such as Ansible/Chef
• Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker registry, etc.
• Experience on Linux platform
• Agile delivery experience
