    Overview

    We are seeking a senior Linux Software Engineer in Test that possesses good experience in Linux platform to perform application testing.

    Role
    • The Linux test engineer is responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of the customer experience when running Linux under virtualization
    • Developing automated test frameworks and automation harnesses to enable comprehensive component-level test coverage
    • Identifying and vocalizing risks areas during product and technology development
    • Meet with business partners to understand business needs
    • Contribute to overall solution design
    • Conduct root cause analysis and complex performance tuning

    All About you:

    • Software Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience with Linux, shell scripting, Python and test automation
    • Knowledge of Linux Virtualization technologies such as KVM
    • Experience coding Unit Tests/Integration Tests/System Tests/Regression Tests and test execution in an automation framework
    • 5+ years of experience developing test automation from scratch
    • Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
    • Strong test planning ability is a big plus
    • Proficiency with source code management tools such as GitHub
    • Proficiency with Agile and/or SAFe methodology
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
