    As a Senior Technical Program Manager you will...

    Be responsible for planning, execution, and delivery, from inception to completion, for an existing technology product or program
    Drive continuous improvement of success metrics across the Program
    Proactively manage the end-to-end delivery of engineering work though the engineering team and all dependent organizations
    Report on progress, ensuring dependencies are covered
    Operate between teams and architectures-overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a successful delivery

    All about you :

    • 4-6 years of overall career experience into a similar field
    • Strong understanding of project & program management techniques around cost, schedule, quality, etc.
    • Experience building and releasing APIs and/or other software infrastructure
    • Strong understanding and experience with Agile development
    • Knowledge and practice of numerous patterns and techniques to improve team processes (i.e. Burndown techniques, retrospective formats, defect handling, etc.)
    • Strong stakeholder management skills across a variety of audiences (Business Owners, Development Teams, Legal, Security, etc.)
    • Coordination and organization skills and the ability to work with multiple groups across multiple locations to ensure success of project
    • Verbal and written communication is clear and concise
    • Good skills around situational awareness, conflict resolution, transparency, and empowerment; models servant leadership

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Program Management
    Assist Program management activities around cost, schedule, quality etc.
    Tie what teams' are developing back to the why, the big program picture
    Maintain and present program related information, & metrics for leadership review
    Drive initiatives for automation, defect metrics and overall quality initiatives
    Advance operational and business concerns or issues relative to future business programs, projects, or enhancements that may affect consistent delivery of quality services.
    Recommend strategic direction, continuous improvements and policy changes.

    Project Management
    Plan, execute, and deliver projects from inception to completion related to a known technology, product, or program
    Proactively manage the end-to-end delivery of engineering work through the organization and all dependent organizations, reporting out progress, ensuring dependencies are covered, overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a successful delivery

    Build and maintain integrated project schedules that account for internal/external dependencies, differing delivery approaches, numerous constraints, and adequately factor in contingency for unplanned delays
    Negotiate features and associated priority and help the team and their customers reach consensus
    Collaborate with engineering managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set priorities and establish delivery milestones
    Figure out the sequencing of the work so that engineering execution can be optimized
    Identify blocking issues and manage their resolution
    Ensure Control teams from Legal, InfoSec, etc. participate in the application's development and deployment efforts as required
    Coordinate with various groups in MasterCard across locations to ensure success of the projects

    Own project communications and ensure the right information about the status of a project is delivered to the right audience at the right time
    Take the time to fully learn the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems involved with your projects including business requirements, Mastercard customer's experience, Mastercard's back office systems, the technical stack (application/service architecture), interfaces and associated data flows, dependent applications/services, runtime operations (i.e. trouble management/associated support strategies), and maintenance.
