Software Engineer II

We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Software Engineer to join team that will be tasked to build a product for Customer onboarding, Customer Performance Management, Risk Monitoring, and Transaction Monitoring
Role
• Play a crucial part in helping drive Quality to help build and ship better products.
• Contribute to test engineering methodologies, and Mastercard standards and help build high-quality software.
• Help make Quality an integral part of the development process.
• Proactively monitor customer insights and production issues to seek quality feedback and improve processes to enhance the quality of the product/capability.
• Drive quality automation and self-service culture as a part of software delivery practices in your team.
• Closely liaison with key stakeholders and potential 3rd party resources.

All About You and What you need to bring:
• Bachelor/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience (Must)
• Must have hands-on experience in the skillset listed below.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. (Must)
• Good at test strategy analysis systematically and delivery-focused. (Must)
• Experience in Unit, Functional, and Integration testing. (Must)
• Practical exposure to building and using test automation frameworks with Java. (Must)
• Experience with any automation tool, preferred playwright
• Experience testing across a variety of platforms: Microservices, and Databases (Must)
• Experienced in different protocols testing (SFTP/sockets/HTTPs/RPC..etc) and familiar with CI/CD pipeline (Must)
• Working knowledge of code coverage tools to ensure higher code/conditional coverage. (Must)
• Experience in working in Agile Methodology. (Must)
• Experience working with other developers to ensure that systems are designed for reliability, performance, and testability. (Must)
• Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry or any other AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platform is preferred.
• Strong communication skills -- both verbal and written, collaboration skills, and organizational skills
• Application development experience Using Java. (Preferred)
• Security Testing experience using security test tools.g (Preferred)
• Hands-on experience in Java scripting, TypeScript (Preferred)
• Exposure to Software Engineering Principles. (Preferred)
