Position summary

**

  • Pay rate: $18.00 per hour.

Essential Job Functions:
Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC/R system.

  • Understand electricity and make repairs to electrical equipment and systems.

  • Disassemble and reconfigure various brands of furniture.

  • Perform general repairs on any building components.

  • Perform any other duties as necessary.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:
A teammate in this position must:

  • Have 1 year of maintenance experience.

  • Have working knowledge of electric and manual hand tools.

  • Possess basic knowledge in plumbing.

  • Have electrical and heating/AC experience.

  • Have communication skills.

  • Be able to work in a team; teamwork.

  • Be able to achieve results.

  • Represent McLane's beliefs and values.

  • Be able to successfully pass a physical capabilities test, drug screen and criminal background check.

  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions:

  • Works in office environments as well as warehouse and mechanical rooms and outdoors

  • This position may require work in hot and cold temperature extremes and exposure to dust, dirt, fumes noise, potentially harmful chemicals, solvents and components, and workings in close to proximity to other teammates.
