About the Role

Dandy is looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to lead employee training and enablement of its employees. The Learning & Development team at Dandy aims ​​to design and deploy strategies that enhance the employee experience, company performance and our competitive advantage. This is a great position for a leader with a background in learning & development who is looking to make an impact in a high growth fast paced environment. In this role, you will work closely with our internal teams across sales, operations, customer service, dental design operations, and training to assess learning needs and create content and materials to address those needs. You will work with these teams to develop programming and execute on projects to uplevel the organization-wide dental expertise. This role will involve wearing multiple hats on a nascent team at a fast-growing startup. Most importantly, this is a ground-floor opportunity for you to help build the L&D function at the world’s best digital dental laboratory.

What You’ll Do

• Reimagine onboarding at Dandy and design/implement a completely new approach for the new hire journey through the end of an employee’s first year
• Conduct thoughtful needs analysis and research to design programs that embed our values and build capabilities the Dandy way, using instructor-led, virtual and experiential modalities across internal business partners and subject matter experts
• Drive a roadmap for development-related programs to meet the needs of our employees within the larger business strategy
• Strategically maximize LMS capabilities, and continuously refresh development content
• Manage L&D vendor relationships  across our different learning platforms
• Deliver initiatives designed to enhance the new hire experience; Lead coordination, content development, and program improvements
• Manage our learning system (LMS): upload and maintain courses, verify and assign learner population, pull reporting, support analysis, manage and train system admins
• Source, manage, and prioritize the pipeline of L&D projects in close partnership with other leaders across Dandy 
• Build and scale the Learning & Development team at Dandy to ensure our employees are set up for success in their roles
• Collect and analyze feedback from program participants to continuously improve learning effectiveness 

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of related experience in an OD, Training, or L&D role
• Detail-oriented, motivated self-starter, comfortable in high-energy, high-profile work environments
• Highly effective project planning/management and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment with changing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to work proactively while operating both independently and collaboratively as needed
• Affinity for teamwork and collaboration with a diverse set of individuals
• Compelling storytelling skills, video editing abilities, and technical savviness a plus
• Experience building and managing relationships with senior business leaders and other stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Experience working cross-functionally with various teams, managing projects, and delivering results
• Ability to be flexible and flourish through uncertainty, while also being proactive
• Mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation
• Knowledge of adult learning theory
