Position summary

The Tax - Transfer Pricing Associate will be responsible for assisting the Section Director on: Transfer Pricing Documentation, Transaction Approval, and Ad-Hoc Advice.

Specific duties include:

  • Approve new transaction requests in a timely manner as they are submitted by the transaction owner, in a way consistent with applicable IRC 482 transfer pricing regulations.

  • Collect and review data required for annual transfer pricing documentation as per IRC 6662.

  • Connect with consultants for queries requiring external analysis

  • Stay abreast of the newest developments in transfer pricing regulations.

  • Expand the visibility of the transfer pricing team by regularly liaising with other teams to ensure that all intercompany transactions are properly remunerated and mapped out.

  • Maintain the transfer pricing grid which contains all transfer pricing policies.

  • Address ad-hoc queries by other teams on transfer pricing issues.

  • Review head office cost allocation

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ experience in (financial services) transfer pricing / accounting, CPA preferable.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerBI. Other experience in data wrangling software such as Alteryx preferred.

The expected base salary ranges from $75,000 - $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
