    Role Description:

    As a Technical Analyst you will interface directly with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/providers. At times, you may interface with various levels of senior management.  Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must.  You must be able to work on you own and successfully in team settings in various sizes and locations. Adherence to standards and procedures is crucial to success in this role, both as an individual and as a member of the wider team.

    Responsibilities:

    • You will provide operations support for network environments, including switching, routing, firewall, traffic management and DNS

    • You will identify and resolve network incidents, communicate with stakeholders to ensure business continuity.

    • Help to manage change processes, including perform change readiness reporting and communication, Monitor Network Master Control Room to facilitate network change management.

    • Participate in production support triage efforts, including incident management, bridge line troubleshooting and technical research and troubleshooting as needed.

    • You will provide status updates, technical detail and communicate incident information accurately.

    • Be responsible for data quality and ensure all network incidents are reliably documented.

    • You will work on ad-hoc reports at the direction of senior team members.

    • You will promote and enforce production governance, including appropriate action within defined procedures and practices.

    What we are looking for:

    • You have a basic understanding of internet protocols and networks, such as WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSI layers 1-7.

    • You have an understanding of troubleshooting methodologies for networking problems.

    • You have a grasp of Network Automation tools and processes.

    • You are a self-starter and have excellent client interfacing skills and you are able to analyse and troubleshoot complex issues with ease

    • You are a good verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable working with colleagues across different time zones with flexible hours to successfully communicate across the globe.

    • You have experience aligning actions to business impact and service restoral/

    • You are accountable and you can hold others accountable (professionally)

    Skills that will help:

    • We are looking for someone with a proven track record in networking disciplines who has a solid understanding of JIRA, Confluence, SCRUM ceremonies and Agile framework.

    • Skills in Cloud or Software Defined Networks with experience in automation tools such as Python, Ansible and API calls.

    • Experience in DDI, Load Balancing and AAA.

    • Experience in Financial Services or other large enterprise.
