Account Manager, Select Unit, Employee Health & Benefits

What can you expect?

An account manager is an employee benefits subject matter expert and business partner to our client base with an employee population of less than 100 employees. You will collaborate with the sales team, carriers and the client to establish and renew benefit plans to meet the client's needs. You will also perform varied service functions such as employee open enrollment meetings, wellness options and other day-to-day service to ensure the client's needs and expectations are met.

We will count on you to:

• Ability to build relationship with colleagues and clients
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of plan designs from varied carriers in the marketplace
• Ability to manage accounts through the calendar year life cycle
• Assists clients with federal and state law compliance and interpreting contractual language
• Coordinate and complete the marketing process for new and renewal group business, including compiling census data, benefit plans, soliciting quotes, monitoring requests, corresponding with carriers, and preparing renewal proposals and presentations.

What you need to have:

• Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills essential
• Ability to conduct presentations and speak to diverse groups
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Exceptional time management and organization skills

What makes you stand out?

• Active Life & Health license or ability to obtain within 90 days

• Experience in insurance, customer or financial services, benefits consulting or a combination of experience

• Experience in benefit administration in the Human Resource field
