**What can you expect?**
- In this role, you will work as a part of Asia Business Intelligence Group (BIG) working with Marsh Asia onshore team to help clients across industries better quantify and manage risk
- BIG Asia team provides company intelligence, market intelligence, research and data analysis support to onshore sales leaders advising clients across a wide range of insurable and non-insurable risks
- Opportunity to problem solve and work with a high performing team in a fast-paced environment. Current team consist of individuals with expertise in strategic risk consulting, cyber security, enterprise risk management and emerging risk domain
- In the first month, the colleague should invest in knowing our business and gaining exposure of products, propositions and our service delivery framework
- By the end of 3rd month, the colleague should have successfully provided research support on the delivery of at least two projects with minimal direction from the BIG Leader / onshore team
**We will count on you to:**
- Deliver high-impact research and consulting engagements projects commissioned by Marsh seals leaders, strategy and sales & marketing communities within Marsh Asia
- Maintain a regular stakeholder interaction for constant flow of information on delivery status, expectations, exceptions, process changes and new opportunities
- Develops strong relationships with stakeholders through high quality project delivery, responsiveness and agile and clear communication. Problem solve with stakeholders on live research and sales strategy projects for better client outcomes
- Contribute to process improvement of the team by making relevant recommendations and executing the process initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of overall delivery
- Mentor analysts and/or fellow colleagues when required
- Report & highlight exceptions in projects, delivery processes, people, policies
**What you need to have:**
- Masters / Bachelors in Economics or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) / equivalent post-graduation certification in Business Administration from a reputed institute
- 2 to 5 years of experience in research (quantitative and qualitative | secondary and primary) experience, at a leading professional services / consulting firm e.g. Big 4, public policy set-ups, financial service captives, insurance/re-insurance/insurance broking firms or leading market intelligence / research firms
- Exposure in delivering research / consulting assignment, building frameworks, drawing data driven insights and performing statistical analysis aligned to the 'Sales Strategy' focusing on clients / prospects, markets, sectors, competitors, products and regulatory developments
- Strong foundation of quantitative research including clarity on statistical concepts with ability to translate data into meaningful insights. Deep understanding of financial concepts
- Strong understanding of strategy frameworks (Porter's 5 forces, BCG Matrix, McKinsey 7s etc.) and their applications in bringing out cutting edge insights
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, storyboarding and report writing skill
- Excellent communication skills verbal, writing, listening
- Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel (including Macros, VBA), Access and SharePoint
- Extensive exposure of commercial databases such as: Cap IQ, Bloomberg, Market Intelligence Factiva, S&P databases, A.M Best Insurance service
**What makes you stand out?**
- CFA/GARP/ CERT CII / ARM
- Experience in strategic risk consulting, enterprise risk management, or insurance / re-insurance related research or advisory support in related verticals
- Working knowledge / foundational clarity of data analytics and visualization including tools and techniques (Tableau, Power BI, Python, and R etc.)
