AVP Facultative Broker

What you can expect?

• This position plays an important role in the success of the Bowring Marsh South Asia team.
• As a key executive in the team the successful incumbent will play an important role in servicing our South Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East portfolios these being the key territories for BMA South. Whilst continuing to develop and enhance an existing skillset broking our South Asia/Pacific/Middle Eastern accounts to the Asia/International marketplace.

• You will have significant input and accountability for designing and delivering key growth initiatives that will assist Marsh achieve future growth and success across our Property and Casualty classes of business.

  We will count on you to deliver:

• Program design and syndication of placement transactions
• Placement negotiation and transaction management
• In conjunction with the broking managers, deliver the most competitive wholesale insurance products available to the practices and their clients or the global broking centre by developing effective carrier strategies to maximize Marsh's broking leverage.
• Delivers prompt and accurate processing of post-placement services such as signed binders, policy documentation and endorsement processing during the policy year.
• Preparation of insurance proposal including but not limited to quotes slips/coverage summary, letter/filing and all related matters pertaining to the clients portfolio
• Assist the business development from both new and organic sources
• Establish and quickly identify key markets for further development and expansion

• Drive large and complex property renewals

  What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of experiences in at least Senior Broker level, if not a similar capacity.
• Experience with the following areas: Property & Casualty product lines, Risk Management and Corporate Segment clients
• Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent. ANZIIF or ACII will be an advantage
• Strong negotiation, presentation and problem solving skills
• Highly motivated, team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to navigate swiftly in a fast paced environment
• Resourceful and able to work independently
